Ford has launched a limited “performance” edition of the Fiesta ST exclusively for the UK market.
Just 600 units of the Fiesta ST Ford Performance Edition will be available, all of which will come in a three-door bodystyle and be decked out in Deep Orange paint – the same colour as last year’s Ford Focus RS Heritage Edition.
As its name suggests, the new model will sport specially designed Ford Performance parts, such as a set of ten-spoke, 18-inch alloy wheels. Lighter and harder-wearing than a traditional cast wheel, they reduce the weight of the car by 7 kg compared to the standard wheel set.
The Performance Edition will also boast a special coilover suspension pack with powder-coated Ford Performance Blue springs and stainless steel damper housing, tested extensively at the Nurburgring Nordschleife by Ford Performance engineers.
The new suspension drops the ride height by 15 mm at the front and 10 mm at the rear. It can be manually adjusted, with the choice of 12 bump settings and 16 rebound settings helping to create a highly personalised setup and driving experience.
Other features offered as standard with the new car include a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system and LED headlights.

The new-generation Fiesta ST hit the UK market in May 2018 and has shifted more than 5,000 units to date, as well as being named Car of the Year and Hot Hatch of the Year by Top Gear Magazine.
