In Part One we spoke about all the new additions to TFS and the long wait for show season to start once again. Part Two will cover the track and the show off sections!
With the sun shining down, the look of relief appeared across many faces, especially on those who had spent hours of meticulous detailing and cleaning their cars in the “Show’n’Shine” area – they looked amazing!
The club stands were also heaving with quality cars not to be missed. Time and effort always play a huge part in season openers, no matter the car. Josh Wyard’s Corsa C is no exception! He spent the previous few days making the latest changes to this little hatch and he pulled it off very well!
Wheels, wheels and more wheels! We are now a society more driven by how a car sits and more importantly, what it’s sitting on. It seems that a growing number of companies are offering a large variety of styles in many different sizes and offsets – so there is a wheel to suit just about every application and everyone’s taste.
This BMW E46 is sporting a set of Ispiri CSR4’s which I think suit it very well.
This Subaru Impreza hatch-back has a set of Rota’s tucked in the arches, a very good choice for all JDM car owners. Rota’s are to the JDM guys what BBS is to Euro guys but don’t be mistaken, there is plenty of cross-pollination between different scenes.
Onto the track and oh was it heated – friendly rivalries and purpose built drag cars alike took taking to the track to see what limits their car can be pushed.
S & J Motors were present, as always, with their radicalised Corsa B drag car – that intercooler gives the car such an aggressive look.
This Nismo GT-R just looks amazing! Some cars look better with age, this is surely one of them. Maybe it’s just me?
Dmitrij Sribnyj took some time away from the drift arena and also took to the strip.
Would you trust your hands in a drag-kart? This man does, I’m not sure I would.
VTEC vs. Duratec – the battle begins.

If you missed out this year don’t forget that there is always next year but for now, just enjoy the season as it will be gone before we know it!
