Featuring ultra-futuristic styling, one of the lowest drag coefficients on a production car and already powerful electric motors, the EQS is the one to watch in 2021, for EV enthusiasts and more traditional petroheads alike.Looking to the future, things get even more exciting with the EQS AMG expected to launch in 2023. Although using most of the same parts, the electric-drive system will be replaced with a much more powerful version and potentially a newer and larger battery.Kitted with a dual-motor drivetrain, the AMG version of this powerful electric saloon is confirmed to have around 760hp which we expect will be delivered to all four wheels. Although it’s going to be powerful, the EQS AMG is also expected to still be a very capable cruiser with at least around 350-400 miles of range and quick charging capabilities being able to gain 186 miles of range in just 15 minutes of charging, based on the capabilities of the current top-spec EQS.Although it’s a hefy full size saloon, the EQS AMG is predicted to be capable of 0-60mph in around 3 seconds, considering that the top-spec EQS is capable of 0-60mph in 4 seconds.The EQS AMG has also already been spotted being tested on a track. Although under camo, it’s been seen with yellow painted calipers but other than that, there’s no visible difference between the AMG and the standard EQS.Although hard to spot at the moment, we assume the EQS AMG will feature flared wheel arches, lower suspension, vertical bar grille and a different set of alloy wheels. Perhaps some carbon bits too, if we’re lucky!On the inside, the EQS features a giant 1.4-metre ‘hyperscreen’ which is powered by a powerful 8-core computer with 24GB of RAM, which we assume will carry forward into the EQS AMG.As for timings, we can hopefully expect this Taycan competitor to be revealed in 2022 and as for pricing, it’s expected to be over £100,000.Let us know what you think about the EQS AMG, in the comments.If you enjoyed this, you may also like: ‘Lotus Evija Tested: What Reviewers Think’"},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
