This new model is now Euro 5 approved meaning that Ducati can continue the sale of the SuperSport 950 whilst being compliant with the newer, stricter regulations that are intended to cut down on two and three-wheeled vehicle emissions.While the new SuperSport emits less, power figures remain the same and even better, the bike now comes with a hydraulic clutch equipped with Ducati\u2019s Quick Shift Up & Down to replace the cable clutch of the previous model.As well as boring regulation compliance, the new SuperSport 950 has been updated in some more interesting ways too. For example, the styling has changed slightly as it moves even closer to the gorgeous aesthetic of the Panigale V4, with the fairings being refreshed to look even sportier than before. The LED daytime running lights have also been altered slightly, now achieving a smooth, solid light bar effect unlike in the previous model where you could make out individual LEDs.Furthermore, the seat\u2019s padding has been upgraded to be softer and more cushioned for greater comfort and the gearbox has been altered so that it\u2019s now easier to engage neutral gear whilst stationary.The digital display has also seen an upgrade, now in the form of a 4.3-inch graphical display featuring digital round rev count and easy-to-navigate menus similar to those found on the Panigale. The screen is bright, colourful and not overly complex, perfect for using and reading whilst riding.Those that opt for the electronic package can get things like ABS Cornering, wheelie control, traction control and three different riding modes, Sport, Touring and Urban. Optional accessories include heated grips, luggage bags and a taller windshield and some customers will no doubt be disappointed that at the price point, the SuperSport doesn\u2019t include heated grips as standard.The base model of the new SuperSport 950 comes in at \u00a312,295 which is \u00a3300 more than the previous model.
