Dacia’s Duster Commercial is the Romanian manufacturer’s latest model showcasing the  company’s modernised brand identity. Based on the sturdy Duster SUV, the commercial  vehicle has a new look that aims to strengthen Dacia’s position as a brand that focuses on  the essentials.

The new Duster Commercial features Dacia’s updated ‘link’ logo sat on a redesigned white  radiator grille. The emblem is a feature of Dacia’s revamped brand identity and resembles

the links of a chain, said to symbolise the brand’s commitment to robustness and simplicity.  The new logo can also be found on the steering wheel and at the centre of each wheel. At  the rear, the ‘DUSTER’ badging seen on the original Commercial is removed, whilst the Dacia  badge is simply replaced by the word ‘DACIA’. The red panelling on the rear lights is  replaced with black plastic, finishing off the vehicle’s cleaner look.

Inside, the Duster Commercial’s cargo area – the key differentiator between the Commercial  and the standard Duster – offers up to 1,623 litres of cargo space. It has a bay length of  1,792mm, a load width of 1,247mm, and a floor-to-ceiling height of 917mm on the 4×2  models. Depending on the model, the Duster Commercial has a maximum payload of up to  503kg, ensuring it is ready for all kinds of work.

All Duster Commercials are made from standard Dusters, with Dacia technicians manually  replacing the rear seats with a flat wooden load floor covered with a hard-wearing surface.

A range of petrol and diesel engines are available, with outputs ranging from 90hp to 150hp  and a choice of two- or four-wheel-drive. The petrol range includes the 1.0-litre TCe 90 and  the TCe 150 engines, both checking in at 45.6mpg (WLTP). The 1.5-litre Blue dCi diesel  engine has fuel economies of 57.6mpg (WLTP) and 53.3mpg (WLTP) for the 4×2 and 4×4  options. As standard, the Duster Commercials are all fitted with a six-speed manual  transmission, with Dacia’s dual-clutch EDC transmission available for drivers that opt for the TCe 150 engine. All models are also equipped with Stop & Start to reduce emissions and  maximise fuel economy.

The Duster Commercial comes in two trim levels in the UK, simply labelled Essential and  Expression. Electric front windows, 16-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, DAB radio with  Bluetooth connectivity and cruise control with speed limiter are just some of the features  included in the base model Essential. Levelling up to the Expression brings you 16-inch alloy  wheels, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors, a rear-view camera with parking sensors  and Dacia’s 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Both trims also come with a spare  wheel and are available in one of four colours: Pearl Black, Arizona Orange, Slate Grey, and  Iron Blue.

The newest Dacia Duster Commercial is available to order now. Prices start from £13,995,  with first deliveries beginning in the final quarter of 2022.
