Peterborough Showground went from silence to harmonious engine revving in a matter of hours.Friday was set-up day for many of the Traders at the show (including myself), so it was no surprise people where queuing near the doors to get a quick peep at what cars have been selected for indoor spaces.As soon as the doors opened on Saturday morning, the human flood began.\u00a0 This Porsche 911 by VAD had a lot of attention sitting between the Main Hall and the Fitment Junkies hall.Darren\u2019s Legnum, which was showcased on the Performance Direct stand back in March for Fast Show, managed to bag a spot in the Top 16. No one will ever notice this, but the Legnum is rocking an EVO front end \u2013 didn\u2019t see that now did you? A friend of mine, Ben Henderson, had his Fiesta MK7 on display \u2013 freshly wrapped. The colour suits the car perfectly and under the right light it pops out at you and in the dark is subtle enough to grab your attention. Well deserved to have a space in the hall.Loads more cars made it into the Top 16, along with this Honda Del Sol on CCW\u2019s running hydraulic suspension. This was inside the hall last year and has had a lot of work done to it since then. Another car that deserved a spot in the Top 16.A car that grabbed my attention massively was this little red Saxo. The paintwork was just fantastically clean! It probably rolled out of the body shop a few days before \u2013 but I could be wrong.Another friend of mine, who also had a car on the Performance Direct stand previously, Miles, brought his Polo along with its new look. With many teaser shots on Instagram, no-one was quite sure what Miles was planning, but it was well worth the wait. With a fresh wrap and a new set of Whistler Wheels, the car was looking very fresh \u2013 proudly on display on the Havair stand.Moving onto the outside, the Performance Direct girls were allowed to wreak havoc \u00a0on the show-grounds. As we know, Scooby-Doo is popular with everyone, including the ladies.Touring the outside it was clear the level of quality was there. Haps finally decided to come along with his freshly wrapped MK V R32 Golf. The Matte Metallic Green suits the car well with the silver accents.Mark Loony had his Civic EK on display in the Plaza, sitting on its new Work Miester R\u2019s with a healthy dose of camber.I would like to say a massive thank you to both of our Photographers \u2013 Simon & Darren – for the work they have put in.
