We assume is your follow-up question, only 400 units were ever made and they apparently sold out in just 30 minutes – that’s how rare.\u00a0It’s not a motor that’s often spotted out and about, as you can imagine, so it’s worth going to the auction even to catch a glimpse of this piece of Impreza history.Set to be auctioned on Friday 20th May at Silverstone race circuit, this particular car has clocked up just 2,500 miles – would you use it do your commute, really?\u00a0It has only had one registered owner since it was new, legendary boxer Prince Naseem Hamed, as if the car could get any cooler. \u00a0As you might expect, the car is in excellent condition and is going to be offered at an estimate of \u00a360,000 to \u00a370,000.Some special design features have been added to the 22B, making it a particularly unique Impreza. These are features from the Peter Stevens’ designed rally car, which include the fender flared widebody, unique bonnet and the unique 555 Blue paint colour, among others.\u00a0Once you get past the aesthetics of this model, take a peek under the hood at its 2.2-litre E22 engine, which – thanks to a turbocharger and intercooler – can do the 0-60mph sprint in just 4.5 seconds.
