This month's Motorexpo has been hailed as a major success by specialist auctioneer H&H Classics, which took orders in excess of £1.4 million during the week-long event in London.
The company arrived at the Canary Wharf motoring extravaganza with a prestigious selection of rare vehicles designed to tempt City bankers to part with their cash.
Cars in the line-up included one of only 20 Lamborghini Reventons in existence, a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III Drophead Coupe, two Bentley Continentals and a Ford GT.
H&H Classic said the Motorexpo, which ran from Monday June 11th to Sunday June 17th, helped the auctioneer to "gain exposure to a whole new sector of collectors' car buyers".
He added: "They proved to be rewardingly receptive to what we had to offer and achieving over £1.4 million worth of orders at our first attempt was most encouraging."
Motorexpo celebrated its 17th edition this year, with more than 250 cars on show for car lovers in the capital.
