This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Lamborghini Miura, and the brand is honouring its most celebrated of models in a particularly special way.
“In what way?!” We hear you shouting! Well, it turns out that that good folks at Lamborghini are releasing a limited edition Aventador to shine a light on the Miura.
D’Marge has referred to this as something of an homage, and we have to say that we completely agree.
The special edition is the mastermind product of the Ad Personam division at Lamborghini, which spends its time personalising the luxury Italian supercars.
As this is an Aventador model, you can expect it to take on the recognised stance of its similar variants but the car will be flecked with Miura touches, including the colours and specifications of the original models.
You’ll recognise the Miura styling straight away, as the upper body is one striking shade and the lower form of the car takes a clashing shade. You can choose from six different colours, including Rosso Arancio Miura and Verde Scandal, among others.
We bet you’re wondering just how limited edition these models are? Well, there’s only going to be 50 produced and each one is going to be numbered – we can’t help but speculate on who might get the top spot…
Each one will be finished with wheels that are either matte gold or silver and the model will have a metallic Miura badge, so everyone knows how special this Aventador is.
Customisation continues indoors, with leather upholstery featuring Miura 50th anniversary logo stitching.
One place where the production team hasn’t made any changes is under the bonnet, where you’ll find the ever-powerful 6.5-litre V12 engine that makes the Aventador a beast among cars.
Pricing hasn’t been released for this 50th anniversary Miura Aventador, but with most of the models already spoken for, we can only imagine the amount of zeros that are attached to the car’s tag.
