Goodwood Revival is a perfect example of how to do a show in its element.  Taking you through a trip back in time, Goodwood executes the car scene from the 1940’s through to the 1960’s without fault.

Not only does it provide an overwhelming atmosphere, but brings back home to heart for all those involved through the period of time allowing them to relive their favourite times year upon year.

This show isn’t just about classic cars on show from the time period, it’s about the era itself and capturing the scene perfectly. Throughout the grounds, shops and mini prop sets were too be seen everywhere, giving ones stand character and adding to the 90’s era nostalgia.

Fashion was probably the biggest revival for the show – From 1940’s class and war time effort to swinging clothes of the 60’s, both the women and men played their parts fantastically, adding perfectly to the nostalgic atmosphere.

Car mechanic seemed to play a very popular role between both genders!

The dress-up theme not only proved consistent through the adults, but through their children as well! Kids played their part for the day as well, creating a beautiful combination of the present intertwining with the past

They even took their hands to the cars – start them young!

We can’t forget about the heart of the show – the cars! Outstandingly executed across the show stands, classics turnt up in their hundreds if not thousands! Roaming the paddocks was certainly a fantastic opportunity to get away from the busy crowds.

The stands alongside the famous Goodwood track were also packed to the barriers! Everyone was out to watch the classic races – certainly a trip back in time! The Shelbey also deemed itself very popular on the track!
