This tidy Datsun 240Z put in its fair share of laps. And this Mark 2 Escort, complete with rust and “Drift Slag” stickers was thrown around track (and run off areas!)Team Falken’s pro drifter Matt Carter did a better job of staying on the black bit and kicking up some smoke for the fans.Even the supposedly sensible, 4WD Audi TT camera car filming the action had a little sideways trick up its sleeve. As if to prove the many “Motorsport is Dangerous” signs around the circuit correct, there were some big offs during the day but\u00a0luckily\u00a0no one was hurt. A few cars did go home in ambulances though. All in all an amazing day of noise, hot metal and tyre smoke. Roll on next year."},{"@context":"https:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"name":"Latest News","item":"https:\/\/smart-motoring.com\/latest-news\/#breadcrumbitem"},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"name":"Classic Cars","item":"https:\/\/smart-motoring.com\/latest-news\/\/classic-cars\/#breadcrumbitem"},{"@type":"ListItem","position":3,"name":"Forge Motorsport Action Day","item":"https:\/\/smart-motoring.com\/latest-news\/classic-cars\/forge-motorsport-action-day\/#breadcrumbitem"}]}]
