Then, and this is the really funny bit, then\u00a0you leave it for a couple of years and go and do the whole thing all over again with a\u00a0Porsche 911 \u2013 d’oh!This where the Classic Car Club come to the rescue; We maintain, store and insure a\u00a0whole fleet of sexy and exciting cars that you can just enjoy without any of the hassles orcommitment of ownership.The club operates a point system. Members pay a one \u2013 off joining fee and buy a package\u00a0of points to exchange against days in the cars. The car they take and when they take it is\u00a0up to them; their account is simply debited the points used for the booking. A standard\u00a0package of 750 points costs \u00a34,250 and gives on average 40 days driving. That E-type\u00a0Jaguar we were talking about earlier for example only uses 14 points in the winter mid\u00a0week and all of the cars come with unlimited mileage.
