All things Italian hit Brooklands once again this year at the Auto Italia event – Italian Car Day on May 4th 2013 and our friends over at Performance Direct were there to soak up the action!
Admirers were keen to walk the stands and displays especially with the new Ferrari F12 showing it’s wheels.
Gates opened at 8.30am and the day was jam packed with demos, track drivers, museum displays and much more! With family tickets priced at £32, there was something for everyone over the weekend.
The infamous hill climb once again proved its testing power with some drivers misjudging the climb including one unfortunate Ferrari 360!
Developed over the last 27 years, the Italian Car Day has gained fantastic recognition as one of the UK’s premier car events for those who own and for the many who just admire an Italian car.
Parade laps around the Mercedes Benz track wowed the crowds as Ferrari 360’s, retro Fiat’s and classic Lancia’s along with the many display cars like the stunning Maserati GranCabrio Sport Convertible, found on the Performance Direct stand, pulled in their audience.
Brooklands, as a venue, is a qualified choice where the grounds offer the right amount of space, demonstrations and opportunities for enthusiasts to collate and enjoy the day. Take a look at some of the motoring action Motor-Vision captured on the day.
