The rain held off, the breakfast was delicious and of course, there was an endless supply of fantastic classic cars to admire, parked around the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit and paddocks.Rare motorsport icons, British sports cars, Italian rarities and hulking American classics all made an appearance in Classic Car Sunday and there truly was something for everyone.As you first enter, attendees are greeted by some of the most special vehicles at the event parked on the starting grid of the circuit. A Ferrari 308 GTS in classic Rosso Corsa red and cream interior immediately takes the spotlight but we didn’t let that distract us from the Bentley ‘Blue Train’ sitting just opposite.The ‘Blue Train’ is the nickname given to the Bentley Speed Six which famously beat Le Train Bleu in a race in 1930. Interestingly, this coupe variant isn’t actually the Bentley Speed Six that won the race but rather it was a saloon model that lacked the stylish sloping roof. Either way, these cars are incredibly rare and very beautiful. If this Bentley ‘Blue Train’ is not a replica then it will be one of just 544 made and will be coming up to 100 years old!Above the cars on the grid were the flags of our friends over at Peter Best Insurance Services, flying high. As official sponsors of the Goodwood Breakfast Club, they also had a stand that was beautifully decorated with a Lancia Flaminia GT Superleggera and Aston Martin DB6 at either side. What better way to advertise their classic car insurance policies than with two gorgeous classics?Some of the most valuable cars at the meet included a Jaguar XJ220 with under 500 miles on the clock, an Aston Martin DB2/4 Mark I and a BMW 3.0 CSL in right-hand drive!All in all, the atmosphere, food and cars all made for a great way for enthusiasts to spend their Sunday mornings.Now obviously, we can’t include all of the photos we have in this blog post, so if you want to see every single amazing car we saw, follow our friends over at Peter Best on Instagram and Facebook, as well as Motor-Vision on Instagram and Facebook for more.Let us know your thoughts, in the comments below.If you enjoyed this, you may also like: ‘The Coolest New Cars Debuted At Goodwood FoS 2021’"},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
