He\u2019s passionate about his projects and they come from the heart. There\u2019s no feeling of \u2018this guy\u2019s trying to sell his supercars to keep investors happy\u2019 – it\u2019s like he\u2019s just an artist who\u2019s passionate about what he makes.The story of Christian von Koenigsegg is as follows:Christian was born in July 1972, making him 47 years old at the time of writing. During his teenage years he was known as \u2018the best moped tuner in town\u2019, then at 18 he tried to patent the Chip Player. The idea was that computer chips would be more effective at storing music in cars than CDs were and could also store much more music. He eventually gave up as no one showed interest but little did he know that storing music digitally rather than on discs would soon become the norm.Koenigsegg RegeraAt just 19 years old, he invented a new joining method for wooden flooring called \u2018Click\u2019 which as you may have guessed, allowed flooring planks to be joined with a click and didn\u2019t need any glue or nails. Again, this fell through after his idea was dismissed by his father-in-law and several floor manufacturers. Four years later, the same idea was patented and is now pretty much the norm in flooring solutions, with the patent likely making the holders a lot of money.Koenigsegg CCXRFinally, at 22 years old he started work on the first Koenigsegg car, the \u2018CC\u2019 and the rest is history. Christian is an innovator who did not only just come up with digital music players in cars and click-lock flooring before either were adopted by the masses, but also created the fastest car in the world, the Koenigsegg Agera RS, which broke the record in 2017 with a top speed of 277.87 mph.Koenigsegg Agera RSThe Agera RS is still currently the official record holder, although some may argue the unofficial record-holder is the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+, even though the car used unique tyres and a modified longtail body and only broke the record in one direction rather than the stipulated two-way requirement.Now, Christian von Koenigsegg has shaken the world once again with his incredible innovation. The Koenigsegg Gemera breaks the mould in many ways and achieves things that no supercar has.Koenigsegg GemeraIt\u2019s a four-seat hypercar which is a world first. Despite having four seats, it still has a mid-engine design and has all-wheel drive, all-wheel torque vectoring, and all-wheel steering.The real game-changer in this car, though, is the TFG. The \u2018Tiny Friendly Giant\u2019 is the name given to the 2.0-litre 3-cylinder engine that somehow through the power of Christian\u2019s genius, produces 600 horsepower.  Using Koenigsegg\u2019s own Freevalve technology in place of a camshaft, each individual valve has the freedom to open independently. Oh, and did we mention it has Isofix points for child seats?All in all, Christian von Koenigsegg is like the DaVinci of the car world.
