With the shortest day comes the longest night, so the timing couldn’t be better to tell you about the new ‘Night Edition’ S-Class Coupé from Mercedes-Benz.

As you’d expect, there’s lots of black involved in the styling of this special-edition two-door S-Class, with a distinctive high-gloss black radiator grille and 20-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels.

Exterior

These monstrous trims are painted black and feature high-sheen detailing, while the exterior mirror housings and the inserts in the side sill panels are also finished in high-gloss black. Front and rear aprons with AMG body styling come as standard, while ‘Night Edition’ badges appear on the front wings.

The smart selenite grey magno paint you see on the S-Class Coupé’s exterior in these pictures also comes as standard.

The car will go on display at 2017’s Detroit Motor Show on January 8th, and orders will be accepted from the day after.
