These are the most epic, hilarious and off-the-wall-crazy adverts you have ever seen in your life, and car manufacturers revel in taking the spotlight.This year, Maserati took the challenge of coming up with a spectacular and memorable advert for their latest model, the Ghibli. They certainly did not disappoint.The 90-second spot entitled “Strike” was played during the first quarter of the clash between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks. At least it gave the Broncos’ fans something else to think about besides the fact their team were being mercilessly pummelled by the opposition.It was dramatic showing of natures greatest forces, such as waves, tornadoes, fire and wind. “The world is full of giants,” the young actress reads.She walks out of her front door while reciting a poem, while images of cityscapes, factory workers, nature, fishermen and car constructors are shown on screen.“We wait until they get sleepy, wait until they get so big they can barely move, and then walk out of the shadows, quietly walk out of the dark\u2014and strike,” she says.Then the ferocious noise of the Maserati Ghibli’s powerful engine can be heard, before the car speeds down a dark, hazy road in Los Angeles.“We have prepared,” reads the screen’s message. “Now we strike”.All in all it’s a pretty elaborate and bold video from the manufacturer, but it was sure to leave an impression on viewers. The sound of the engine alone is enough to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up on end.The brief look we got of the car before it sped away was mean too.
