It’s no secret that prior to its redesign, the Audi TT was just a bit ugly. Its smooth edges and round appearance didn’t really say ‘sports car’. Enter 2016 and Audi have created a car with looks that could kill and a grill big enough to eat a full size human! Let’s take a look at the new TT RS a little closer…

Audi TT RS front

Available in both coupe and roadster forms, the Audi TT RS is packed with a turbocharged, 2.5-litre engine which creates 394bhp! Audi have reported that the 0-62mph speed is 3.7 but there are owners who have recorded 3.4, which would mean that the TT RS is quicker than an Enzo!

Don’t expect this car to fit more than 2 average height adults though as there is even a warning label on the inside of the passenger door which advises against getting in the back if you are over 5 foot tall! Although, in contrast, there is plenty of leg and head room in the front seats.

It’s quite common for sports cars to have a dull interior where the manufacturers have used all of there assigned budget on flashy exterior accessories. This is not the case when it comes to the Audi TT RS at all. Surrounded by luxurious materials and refined leather, it’s clear that the £52k price is well spent.

Fuel economy is actually pretty damn good with moderate driving coming in at 35mpg! This may not seem very impressive in this day and age but when you remember how fast the car hits 60mph, its pretty astonishing.

In conclusion, if you have the money to spend on a sports car next year, the Audi TT RS should definitely be a contender. It’s beautiful, fast and comes with that desirable badge.
