Spanish manufacturer SEAT has long been known for its beautifully styled cars, but the image of the brand’s vehicles is set to become even more fashionable.
The company has formed a new collaboration with multinational fashion retailer MANGO to help on future special edition designs for its cars.
In the flagship model of the partnership, the two brands have teamed up to make a special edition of the existing Mii city car.
The Mii by MANGO has now been officially announced and will be revealed at the 080 Barcelona Fashion event from January 27th to 31st.
It has been given a number of new features and stylings both inside and out, to truly make it a uniquely MANGO design.
The exterior will be available in one of two colours, with customers able to choose from ‘nude’ or ‘deep black’. It is sure to catch the eye thanks to newly distinguished side mouldings, dark grey 15-inch alloy wheels and the ‘Mii by MANGO’ lettering adorned on both the left side of the rear hatch and the B-pillar.
Climbing inside, customers will be able to see the various design elements featured within. This includes the distinctive grey accents throughout, in addition to the leather steering wheel and gear knob and the Alcantara upholstery with ‘nude’ trim.
If you were unsure as to what the name of the car is, you’ll find the ‘Mii by MANGO’ signature stitched to all the headrests.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a fashionable car without room for the odd accessory. Under the glove box on the front passenger side is a convenient hook, put in place as a perfect way to hang your handbag when in the vehicle.
There is also a mirror on the driver sun visor, in addition to specifically designed floor mats, door sills and key fob. It seems MANGO has not left any detail untouched.
All of this has been delivered with the intention that the new Mii offers both style and practicality on top of an excellent drive.
The car is expected to launch in the UK in the summer of 2014, when hopefully the country will be able to provide a little bit of Spanish sunshine so drivers can flaunt their new fashionable car.
As well as the quality and desirable style the car offers, it also comes with a range of equipments and features, including electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes, front and side airbags, air conditioning, hill hold control, remote central locking and many more.
With this model marking the start of the collaboration between the two brands, it will be interesting to see how far the special edition designs go in the future.
While MANGO might be more at home on the catwalk than the forecourt, the designs are surely set to be welcomed by both fashion enthusiasts and car fanatics alike.
