What’s more, it is the first vehicle to have been certified as this resistance class, which is the highest attainable for ballistic protection.The base structure has been reinforced and then integrated into the bodyshell production stage, which offers improved strength and stability. This is done by putting components of special steel into the spaces between the body structure and outer skin.   There is extra protection against splinters thanks to special aramide and PE components, while there is also extra ballistic protection because of overlapping systems at critical points on the vehicle.A lot of focus has been put on the protective elements of the windows of the car, making them an essential part of the concept. They are covered with polycarbonate, which protects against splintering. The visual character of these windows is not impaired, though, thanks to their laminated structure.Despite all of this, the average onlooker would not be able to tell the standard S 600 Guard model from its standard equivalent. Its high performance also deserves a nod thanks to its V12 petrol engine, which can reach 530 hp. Torque can also reach 830 Nm, while the car also offer low fuel consumption and impressive acceleration to allow for a fast escape from danger. However, its top speed is limited to 130 mph electronically due to weight reasons.
