A new Top Gear Live arena show is set to get underway next month, with fans of performance vehicles and zany car modifications to be in for a treat if they head along.
Popular presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will all be in attendance at the show, which is taking place at Birmingham's NEC Arena from October 25th to 28th, while The Stig is also set to make an appearance.
It is set to feature an array of Top Gear's most famous challenge vehicles, including the practically indestructible Toyota Hilux, while this year's event is set to be a celebration of ten years of the new format of Top Gear having been on our TV screens – which was first aired on the BBC in October 2002.
Andy Wilman, Top Gear's executive producer, commented: "We talked to The Stig about jumping out of a cake but his left elbow started twitching, which is always a warning of impending massive violence, so we abandoned that idea. In the end we decided we'll show a lovely and mostly tasteful film celebrating our achievements over the last ten years."
Some of the most-loved aspects of the Top Gear TV show will be recreated for exhibition guests, including the famous Cool Wall.
An array of some of the world's most expensive and high-performance vehicles are also set to be on show for visitors, such as the Ariel Atom V8, Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster, Aston Martin Vanquish, Ferrari 458, Koenigsegg CCX and Lamborghini Aventador.
However, the live stunts in 2012 could be a significant draw, with Clarkson taking on The Stig with help from the armed forces and a new world record attempt by the Top Gear Stunt Team.
Fans keen to head along to the show are therefore encouraged to book their tickets as soon as possible, as it is likely to be a sell-out.
