This means it has basic weight of just 1,311 kg – around 150 kg lighter than its closest rival.In terms of engine, it is fitted with a mid-mounted 3.8-litre twin turbocharged V8 engine which is capable of generating 540PS at 7,500 rpm and 540Nm of torque at 3,500-6,500 rpm.Fans of McLaren will pleased to discover the finish of the overall look of the car is purely sports-inspired.The 540C Coupe has alloy wheels, available in silver or stealth finish, with 19-inch at the front and 20-inch at the rear – and Pirelli P Zero tyres as standard. It also benefits from McLaren’s Formula 1-derived Brake Steer system, which is specially designed to help drivers brake later into corners.Inside, there is a focus on comfort with ergonomic seats helping to make a welcoming cockpit.
