Castle Combe played host to “Europe’s biggest Japanese car show” as JAPFEST roared its way through on Saturday 10th May. It was clear on the faces of those in attendance that it was an early start but nevertheless looking forward to what was going to be an action-packed day!
Back to the high-octane fuelled madness involving Japanese machines, M-Tech Automotive brought along their mobile-dyno runner. Testing the sheer power from aspirated, tubo and super-charged engines – both new and old machines proved their power.
The weather could have been better for everyone, with dark skies and the odd shower, the morale was a tad dim to say the least.
However, you can always count on the three musketeers to cheer everyone up! No, not Athos, Porthos and Aramis, more like – Clarkson, May and Hammond.
Clearly shown here, Hammond & May seem utterly confused over things that are being said by Clarkson. Nothing new to any of us!
But the main course of action for the day was a truly Japanese born tradition – Drifting! Below is an assortment of images featuring the beasts resting and at work:
