Hyundai has unleashed its high-tech executive saloon, the All-New Genesis, and it’s coming to the UK this April.
Prices start at £47,995 and, as it is available only in limited numbers, it will be sold exclusively from selected Hyundai dealerships across the country.
The rear-wheel drive All-New Genesis is powered by a 3.8 litre V6 GDI engine, which works with eight-speed automatic transmission.
Following the most recent design philosophy from Hyundai, the exterior of the All-New Genesis has fluid lines that sweep down its flanks. The wheelbase is long and has minimal overhangs to give the car a sophisticated look on the outside.
On the inside, the driver and passengers can enjoy plenty of space as they sit back on fine grain leather seats. The car is equipped with a number of intuitive technologies, such as an advanced driver infotainment system that shows detailed information via an eight inch touch screen.
There are a number of safety features included with the car, such as Smart Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking and a carbon dioxide cabin sensor, the first of its kind, which monitors the air quality in the cabin and helps to protect the driver from getting drowsy.
Four cameras offer a 360 degree view of the car all the time. This assists the Rear Cross Traffic Alert system, which is in place to warn the driver of approaching hazards when they reverse out of a parking space. Another safety feature is Blind Spot Detection, which monitors the traffic around the car and warns the driver about and hazards coming up.
As well as safety features, the car also comes equipped with plenty of convenience features, such as a Smart Boot System that automatically opens the boot if the smart key is detected nearby for more than three seconds.
There is a choice of seven specially selected metallic and pearlescent exterior colours for buyers of the vehicle. These have been selected to show off the sleek lines of the car. Future drivers also get to choose between three interior trim colour options.
