This year Andy has confirmed his drive in the Alfashop Alfa Romeo Championship 2014, running with leading Alfa team Bianco Auto Developments; we spoke with Andy to find out more:Andy, what can you tell us about the car that you will be competing in?I\u2019ll be racing an Alfa 156 in the Production Class of the Championship. The cars are pretty close to showroom spec, and run on treaded tyres \u2013 the racing in this class is fierce as the cars are pretty identical and its often means it\u2019s the drivers making the difference. \u00a0Are you looking forward to working with the Bianco Auto Developments team?I\u2019ve known and raced against Paul Plant for a few years now, and I\u2019ve always admired the success he\u2019s had in the Alfa\u2019s.\u00a0 Bianco are a Championship winning team, and I think I\u2019ve given myself the best change of achieving success by signing with them for 2014.Can you tell us more about your previous racing history?For many years, I\u2019ve run GT and Production cars in 24hour and Endurance races but 6 years ago I decided to step down from the pit wall and experience the thrill of racing for myself.\u00a0\u00a0 Up to now I\u2019ve mainly raced in 2 driver mini-endurance races, but I\u2019ve always wanted to take part in a full solo Championship season.
