Alfa Romeo is truly a brand that is built both for luxury and racing so if you haven’t had the chance to take yours out on the track then this is something you really ought to try to do. In fact, Beaulieu are running an event that means you could get to do just that.
The Simply Alfa Romeo rally is coming up on June 29th, which will allow fans of the car brand to come down and admire some of its vehicles. Additionally, owners of an Alfa will be able to test out their vehicle as well as their driving abilities against each other.
It is an event that is open to all generations of the Alfa, whether you have a modern Giulietta, 4C or MiTo, which you use in your day to day life, or if you have been taking care of a vintage HP or 6C model which comes from as far back as the 1900s. Not only is it a chance to pit yourselves against each other but it also gives you an opportunity to talk to other drivers who share a passion for the Alfa Romeo brand.
Prices are £10 for adults and £5 for children if you fancy getting involved in the rally.
You will also have the chance to marvel at various models and trims that you may have not seen in real life before. At the National Motor Museum, there will be more than 250 vehicles on show. What’s more, there are two new displays that you can view that focus on motoring prowess.
There is For Britain and For the Hell of it, which centres on vehicles that have attempted to break land speed records. This includes four cars that managed to break this record as well as a collection of vehicles that are described as having “more alternative land speed heritage”.
For those who have an interested in two-wheeled vehicles too, there is also an exhibition called The Motorcycle Story, which covers the history of motorbikes and contains a range of these on show.
