The car was developed by Exagon in cooperation with SAFT, who provided latest generation lithium batteries, and Michelin, who delivered tyres and axles.It will be gliding into Salute to Style, one of London’s prestigious summer garden parties, between July 16th and 19th when the event comes to Hurlington Club, which is recognised globally as a high profile private members’ club.This year Salute to Style will start off on Wednesday July 16th with a Bastille Day ball with a 1960s-theme. As well as the display of high-end cars that will be on show throughout the event, visitors will get to enjoy a range of private collections, art and luxury goods galleries as well as a French market that will include food, drinks and pastimes.Keeping in line with the general feel at Salute to Style events, the Furtive-eGT is designed to represent the highest level of evolution in super sportscars at present. It comes with a revolutionary electric drivetrain while giving a nod to the classic lines from automotive design and history.Exagon has drawn on Formula One technology when selecting and developing materials for the car as it comes with a carbon-fibre and honeycomb tub, while the rear structure is cast in aluminum.In total, the entire body of the vehicle weighs a mere 124 kg, which gives it a fantastic weight to stiffness ratio.Powering the car are two electric motors, which were sourced from Siemens and can each give out more than 400 brake horsepower. Pedal response time is also measured at only one tenth of a second, which means the Furtive-eGT can go from zero to 60 mph in only 3.5 seconds.Founder of Exagon Motors Luc Marchetti said: “We have the same approach as jewel-makers to high-end manufacturing and bespoke craftsmanship.\u201cFrance has a unique focus on virtuosity and creativity when producing works of art.
