He has had his work exhibited internationally and there is a permanent collection of Mr Woods’ art in the London Transport Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the University of Arts in London.GPS-Art is created by drawing, travelling and technology to create the large-scale image. The journey is recorded by the GPS receiver’s memory using a transponder and can then be downloaded. This will display the final picture.To get the world record for Largest GPS Drawing, Vauxhall must beat a minimum distance of 4,451 miles. It aims to have this done upon completion of the UK-wide tour, which will see it cover 7,000 miles and visit most of the country’s towns and cities.The final image will be unveiled at the end of October and will stretch from Scotland to the South Coast of England.
