For the 9th year running, the BMW Show is back and packed full of more entertainment than ever!
The BMW is somewhat the ultimate car with its hearty engine, rear-wheel drive and stable handling, not to mention that they’re great for drag racing! No wonder the brand has its own exclusive show! The BMW Show on Sunday the 28th September will be packed full of various events across the weekend, and no doubt you won’t be able to see them all! But here are some of the best bits for you to choose from.
All BMW’s will be able to race throughout the day in the famous ‘Run What Ya Brung’. Drivers of BMW’s only, will be able to race the ¼ mile track for just £25! Yes, that’s £25 for an UNLIMETED run of the track, which includes a full performance print out of your runs! All racers during the day will be put into classes with the chance to win a trophy for each class!
The classes include:
1 Series (E87, E81, E82, E88, F20, F21)
2 Series (F22, F45)
3 Series (E21, E30, E36, E46, E90, F30)
4 Series (F32, F33, F36)
5 Series (E12, E28, E34, E39, E60, E61, F10, F11, F07)
6/7 Series (E24, E63, E64, F12, F13, F06, E23, E32, E65-E68, F01, F02)
M Series – Naturally aspirated
M Series – Forced Induction
X Series
Z Series
BMW Minis
Bikes
Overall Quickest BMW
Also racing on the track will be the ‘Jet Funny Car’ a thunderous, 270mph monster with 20ft flames and ultimate fire force! Not a car to miss! Alongside will be a range of spectacular dragsters and the Jet Mini – what’s a Jet Mini you ask? Well it’s only the ultimate Jet car, taking the shape of a Mini, with a Rolls Royce Viper 203 jet engine, and 2,800 lbs of thrust. Ooooh.
Lee Bowers – Top freestyle motorcycle rider will be on the track, performing his stunt and tricks show to the crowd!
If you aren’t quite into racing, and prefer to keep your pride and joy in pristine condition then the Show & Shine competition is probably better for you. If you have a sweet BMW show car, be it a classic or modified beauty, rather than leave it in the car park where no one can see it, park up in the show paddock for FREE, and show it off to the world! (Or just the attendees)

As mentioned, BMW’s make great drift machines! So why not take a ride in one? There will be drift passenger rides on the day with experienced drifters1 Feel the wind in your hair, and your heart in your chest, as the exhilarating drift rides take a smoky trip around the track! For only £10 have a ride that you won’t forget!
Live Entertainment will be shown throughout the day, from a range of different events. Games, live music, DJ Sets and beat boxers are just a few of the acts that will be on the main stage during the day! There will also be lots of free prizes, including signed t-shirts & Cd’s, so head over to the stage!

To round the entertainment off there will also be a mix of fun fair rides open across the day! From Dodgems to arcades and sideshows, it’s something for the whole family (Or just the adults) to enjoy!
It’s not just the Sunday that you can spend at Santapod, camping is available to all those that wish to stay for an extra day of fun with RWYB on the Saturday and music in Fuelers bar during the evening, and with added fun fair rides, making the ultimate weekend.
