They will cost £19,795 and £21,795 respectively.Other models due to come out are the basic Studio, the Style, Zetec and Zetec S. They continue in the vein of a technological family car, thanks to their automated parallel parking, low-speed collision avoidance control, Traffic Sign Recognition and the optional extra of a Blind Spot Information System.However, the new Focus also sees the addition of Perpendicular Parking, which helps drivers into spaces next to other vehicles. It operates in a similar way to the old Active Park Assist function that is available in the current generation of the Ford Focus, which uses ultrasonic sensors to steer the car into a space while the driver controls the accelerator and brake.As well as the new and improved in-car technologies, the new Focus also boasts improved handling, steering and fuel economy on a variety of models due to new powertrain options.For example, the 1.5 litre EcoBoost engine delivers 182PS and 270 Nm of torque, which is the same as that of a 1.6 litre but this one benefits from a seven per cent improvement in fuel economy and reduction of carbon dioxide emissions to 127 g/km.What’s more, the diesel engines across the new range sees a ten per cent improvement on fuel economy compared to the last models.Chairman and managing director at Ford of Britain Mark Ovenden said: “The Ford Focus is the UK’s favourite family car, so the launch of the new model is an exciting time.”“With unmatched levels of technology and impressive fuel economy, combined with Ford’s traditional driving dynamics and competitive pricing, we believe that the new car will not only delight our existing customers but also expand the appeal of the Focus brand.”"},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
