Once again Bug Jam hit Santa Pod with a huge bang this year and Motor-Vision were there to soak up all the lovely VW action on hand. From the get-go on Friday morning, thousands of attendees lined the streets to the entrance of Santa Pod to try and grab a head start on the weekend’s event.
Known as the biggest VW show in Europe it is no surprise that the showground was full to the brim with visitors joining in across the plenty of attractions.
From the fair-ground rides to the Run What You Brung (RWYB) track action, there was plenty of fun to be had by everyone.
Revellers arrived over the scorching weekend with their families, friends and loved ones and whether you chose to camp or had a day pass, there was no way you could miss out on the fun!
Friday saw many show goers prep their vehicles for the Show n Shine over Saturday and Sunday; Saturday was for the rusty-ratters, wonderful wrecks and military vehicles whilst Sunday was for the shiny cars, restored classics and colourful customs.
Entertainment was second to none with the Main Stage hosting acts such as The Hoosiers on Friday and had Top Loader playing to a packed audience on Saturday.
Since the launch of Bug Jam in 1987 the festival has grown tremendously and more than 35,000 people took part in the 2013 Bug Jam this year, we are already looking forward to the next one!!
