As a sort of ‘no compromise’ option, the M8 Comp consists of a luxurious offering, full of tech and fine materials, mixed with performance that is sporty enough to earn both BMW’s ‘M’ badge and the ‘Competition’ title!Not a whole lot has changed with this newly refreshed version of the M8 Competition but the improvements are very much appreciated and all represent a move in the right direction.Still using the same engine, suspension, gearbox and all other performance parts, the M8 Comp is still capable of doing 0-62mph in a blistering 3.2 seconds, or 3.3 seconds for the convertible model. The uprated 4.4-litre V8 engine from the M5 uses M TwinPower Turbo technology to produce 625hp and 750Nm of torque.Although technically it won’t be going faster than its predecessor, it may feel faster in the all-new M Carbon bucket seats. Shaped more like seats you would find on a roller coaster than car seats, strapping into the new M8 Comp is now an experience in itself.Also inside the cabin, more alcantara on the dash and the inside of the doors has been added, just incase people forget that this isn’t simply an M car, it’s an M Competition car. A new interior colour option of black and Sakhir Orange has been added for those who want a new exclusive colour combination that cannot be had in the previous models.The infotainment screen has also increased in size, now measuring in at 12.3 inches diagonally across, which is a noticeable difference over the previous 10.25-inch screen.Exterior-wise, there are a whopping 8 new colours that are now available for the M8 Comp, which consist of; Skyscraper Grey metallic, Brooklyn Grey metallic, Isle of Man Green metallic, Tanzanite Blue metallic, Frozen Pure Grey metallic, Frozen Deep Grey metallic, Frozen Deep Green metallic and Frozen Tanzanite Blue metallic.The front apron has been changed slightly and is now lower and the BMW’s M Lights Shadow Line is now available for the model, to help accentuate the already-gorgeous headlights.All in all, BMW is doing well in continuing to refine their flagship model, as if it wasn’t incredible enough.Let us know your thoughts, in the comments below.If you enjoyed this, you may also like: ‘Hyper-Limousine: Great, Another Car Segment…’"},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
