Some very surprising moments from the track \u2013 we witnessed a VW Camper T1 go against a VW Polo MK 1 \u2013 everyone thought the same thing \u201cOh, the Polo will win!\u201d How wrong we all were! The T1 ripped up the track making the Polo seem as if it was travelling at a snail\u2019s pace \u2013 brilliant! Below is the same Polo going up against a VW Corrado:The atmosphere of the show was very chilled and relaxed, exactly what one \u00a0expects from a VW show. All VW enthusiasts seem to have a \u201claid-back\u201d attitude to things which made it such an enjoyable show.The Saturday also saw BMX\u2019ers, skateboarders, roller-bladers and runners take to the track in a large human race up and down the Santa Pod track with winners from each class being awarded \u2013 embracing the family experience to a completely different level!Sunday soon approached with more track action \u2013 a variety of different series were present. The superbikes were a sight not to be missed and neither was the drag car series. The street classes also produced some very eye-opening moments with some extremely quick times.Our friends over at Performance Direct where also present quoting people’s much loved motors and handing out their \u00a325 Off Insurance Vouchers.
