Ford claims the car can produce around 415 bhp in the US, but slight modifications for the rhd version means it will be nearer to 410 bhp in the UK.The remaining cars ordered will be fitted with Ford’s 2.3 litre EcoBoost engine, which will offer 310 bhp at 5500 rpm and torque at 320 b ft at 3000 rpm. Owners can expect around 35.3 mpg from the car. In a reflection of the UK driving culture, 60 per cent have opted for the manual gearbox rather than the automatic – the favoured option in the US.However, UK buyers have been more varied in the colour choices, 23 per cent will be driving a Mustang with a Race Red paint colour – the eye-catching design proving more popular than the Magnetic Silver, Shadow Black, Deep Impact Blue and Triple Yellow.Interior-wise, 75 per cent have decided to go with the ebony interior rather than the dark saddle or ceramic options. The US is likely to remain the most popular market for the Mustang, more than 9.2 million have been sold since the car’s launch in 1964. But the introduction of the rhd version could encourage a whole new generation of Mustang fans in the UK."},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
