This included a Ferrari 488 Pista, Alfa Romeo SZ Zagato, BAC Mono, BMW Z8 and a gorgeous red Miura, to name a few.Further down, we had a chance to appreciate a McLaren Senna GTR, complete with carbon aero (canards, diffuser, splitter) and Senna-themed decals, with Senna’s World Championship years on the sides and quote reading ‘I am not designed to finish 2nd or 3rd… I am designed to win.’ with Senna’s signature on the bonnet.Notable classic cars dotted around the premises included a black Aston Martin DB4, BMW 840 Ci Sport Auto, Lancia Flaminia, BMW 2002, Ferrari Dino 246, Jensen FF and enough Jaguar E-Types to satisfy any E-Type fan!Along with the Peter Best van, a gorgeous little Rover Mini Cooper also accompanied them at their stand, featuring green paint and flashy alloy wheels. Decorating the other side of the stand were two Ascari Ecosses, which is a rare sight to see considering only 17 were ever made.Ascari is a UK manufacturer based in Banbury and the Ecosse is a lightweight supercar produced between 1998-1999. Capable of a top speed of 200mph, 0-60mph in around 4 seconds and sitting on a spaceframe chassis and wishbone suspension, the Ecosse is the real deal! All in all, there was plenty to see at this year’s GRRC Breakfast meet! If you want to see more photos, Peter Best Insurance Services will be posting them on their Instagram and Facebook pages so be sure to give them a follow! Also, as the sponsors of Goodwood Breakfast Club, Peter Best Insurance is currently offering £25 off for GRRC members.
