Attend Peter Best’s classic car event this Father’s day for free!
Like classic cars? Live in or near Essex? Looking for something to do on Father’s day this year? Well, look no further for a fantastic day of gorgeous classics, live music, food and (hopefully) some great British summer sun!
Our friends over at Peter Best Insurance Services are hosting another classic car event this year and if it’s anything like their last event, we can expect an amazing turnout of a great variety of cars.
At PBIS’s 2019 classic car event, guests were spoiled with a display of cars ranging from the ultra-rare to the downright bizarre. From Chris Evans’ Chitty Chitty Bang Bang replica to a Ferrari 250 GT Lusso worth around £1.75 million, even though the weather wasn’t as nice as it should have been the event was still a great success.
Various car clubs also attended in full force, with enough classic Minis, MGs, TVRs, Mercs, Land Rovers and Lotus’s to keep any enthusiast happy. Parked in various spots around the beautiful Braxted Park, we were absolutely spoiled for things to do when we were invited to the event and this year, the “Classics At Braxted Park” event is due to be even bigger and better!
Details are as follows:
Date: Sunday 19th June 2022
Time: 8am – 4pm
Location: Braxted Park Estate, Witham, CM8 3EN
Entry + parking cost: FREE (registration is required)
VIP Dining Experiences: £25 per person (includes breakfast or afternoon tea)
This year’s event is particularly special, not only because it is taking place on Father’s day but also because it is in conjunction with the 70th Anniversary celebration of the Mercedes-Benz Car Club. Expect to see plenty of beautiful classic and modern Mercedes cars at Braxted this year – I’m personally hoping to see a few nice 280 SL convertibles.
Furthermore, for the motorsport enthusiasts, PBIS is teaming up with Motor Sport Magazine to host a Q&A with Richard Attwood, the legendary racing driver perhaps most famously known for winning Le Mans 24 Hours. And if you want a more involved experience, tickets for brunch with Richard Attwood are also available for purchase so you can get to know the man who put the Porsche 917 in the spotlight.
So for a day of hundreds of classic cars, a famous racing driver, music, food and (hopefully) sunshine, come on down to Braxted Park this Father’s Day!
