It has been “dubbed” (pardon the pun) the largest indoor VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) enthusiast show of the year! It brings together Audi, Seat, Skoda and VW owners under one roof show casing their pride and joy, with cars from all over Europe attending.
Held at Telford International Centre – located North West of Birmingham – it houses a huge range of show cars within the premises and the thousands of people who flock to the show are catered for, with great hospitality and attractions.
This year a special section within the UD show grounds was setup especially for cars on display from the early 70’s. The “Concours Showroom” was purely dedicated to the quality cars that had been preserved or restored to their former glory.
UD also had a variety of special displays, our personal favourite being the “Static vs. Air Showdown”. This argument has been juggled around the scene since air ride suspension was introduced. Those on coilovers or shock & spring setups argue that those who use air bags are “cheating” to get ultimate lows. Either way all the cars on this display where beautifully setup.
