The Best Original went to Peter Harvey and his \u201858 VW Beetle which had all original panels, had never been welded, all original interior and had only done 42,000 miles!The RWYB (Run What You Brung) competition saw owners take to the track to try and beat their fastest times. Neil Payne came in first with an amazing 12.5152s at 105.52mph. Race classes for the National Drag Racing Championships included: Volkswagen Sportsman, Volkswagen Pro, Euro Funny Car Series, Street Eliminator, Outlaw Anglia, and Sportsman ET.The fun didn\u2019t stop there! I was excited to see all of the bands and singers that were lined up to perform on stage. My favourites had to be The Pigeon Detectives, the crowd were going wild! The comedians had everyone in fits of laughter and the DJs got everyone up on the dance floor.
