With the sun shining down on Silverstone, it was set to be a good day, especially as there was so much to do.
The trade section was booming, with thousands of people flooding through spending their pennies. You have to get there early though, as the hard to find items are usually snapped up within the first hour of the day.
Roose Motorsport had attended with their immaculate Sierra RS Cosworth. The detail that has gone into the engine bay is second to none, it has to be by far, the best bay I have personally laid eyes on.
This little KA has taken a more “stanced” approach more commonly seen in the VW and Dub scene.
The RSOC had a very nice line up, the organiser at RSOC must be OCD when it comes to arranging colours – just look at the pattern!
The guys over the STOC were not as bothered about colour co-ordination but had an equally had an impressive stand.
The roar of the track attracted many spectators and rightly so. There were all sorts on the track, from Fiesta STs to Mondeos to classic Escorts.
Just because a car is old, does not mean it cannot perform. We have to remember that the cars from yesteryear are the ones that paved the way to modern day racing. Just take a look at these Escorts going at it, well done to Darren for managing to capture one of the cars mid-drift!
