A few friends walked away from the show very sunburnt \u2013 always remember people, prepare for all weather conditions.There were a few familiar faces on the day, such as the S&J Motorsport Corsa B Drag car. A big intercooler, hanging from the front of a Corsa \u2013 nothing more intimidating.A friend of mine, Josh, had his Corsa C on \u201cShow\u2019n\u2019Shine\u201d \u2013 always nice to see someone modify a five door.The car of the show for me, wasn\u2019t even a car, it is this Astra Van which has been slammed on a set of\u00a0 WCI MT10\u2019s. I couldn\u2019t see the rear install, so I am not sure what suspension set-up this is running, taking an educated guess and from the most popular trends, I would say it\u2019s on air-ride.Another car that caught my attention was this Zafira. Completely stock from the outside, with the exception of eyebrows and wind deflectors, lurking under the bonnet was a Z20LET engine. So a VXR engine in a family wagon \u2013 that is a very quick school run.The strip was alive, and thanks to the weather, was open all day. A manner of cars were running the strip, from a daily drive Astra VXR to the more drag focused Victor.Again, I would like to thank Darren our local Santa Pod photographer for the images!
