With that in mind, here we have the DBS 770 Ultimate Volante, the automotive manufacturer\u2019s final incarnation in V12 form.It\u2019s certainly a vehicle set to go out with its place marked in history – the DBS 770 Ultimate is the most powerful production vehicle that Aston Martin has ever produced; and there will only be 499 of them available across the world. Those 499 models are split into 300 coup\u00e9 versions with the remaining 199 being the Volante convertible editions.As a final model, Aston Martin has tweaked the design a little and given the 770 Ultimate a smattering of carbon-fibre trimming and a new front splitter. The striking U-shaped\/horseshoe venting in the bonnet aligns with the 770 Ultimate\u2019s grooves and sweeping lines perfectly, pulling cooling air into that V12 engine. More carbon-fibre adorns the interior in the shape of new bucket seats coated in Alcantara and leather.Aston Martin wanted to mark the end of the line for the model range with something special all round, and the company has certainly produced something incredibly eye-catching. Being an Aston Martin means it has a bit of gravity-bashing power too, with the 770 Ultimate boasting a top speed of 211mph along with 759bhp and 900Nm of torque from the 5.2-litre twin turbocharged V12.The final DBS model has had various tweaks to improve performance and handling, including comprehensive improvements to the chassis and underbody structure as well as refinements to the steering, suspension, and transmission.The Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate has proven to be a winner for fans of the marque, with all 499 limited-edition models being claimed for already.
