2016 has been the year of awesome new cars and as Christmas approaches we all start to write a wish list in our heads of the cars we hope Santa will bring us. Everyone has that one car they dream of owning, so here’s our top three on our Christmas car wish list from this year – has yours made it into our list?
BMW M2
You can’t help but stop and stare at this sharp looking M2 by BMW, that’s if you can catch a glimpse as it roars past in a sudden burst of speed that can see it reach 62mph in just 4.3 seconds. This power comes from the fantastic N55 engine and careful engineering means the balance is spot on, which makes it easy to drive hard and even then it will still be kind to you.
This turbocharged coupe performs really well on the road as a fun everyday kind of car that will offer any driver a welcome challenge.
Audi Q2
This small crossover SUV was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year and there are plenty of personalisations that let you tailor it to match your own style. The controls are responsive, inside the cabin is fairly roomy and the ride is nice and smooth.
As this is a fantasy wish list, we’re bumping the Q2 up to its highest specification to benefit from all the luxury goodies it offers, including LED lights, leather trim and sports suspension. Audi’s Q2 has a classy feel and a stylish design that is hard not to love!
Fiat 124 Spider
Perhaps the world’s finest sports car, we just can’t get enough of the Fiat 124 Spider! Its a fantastic little roadster that is always a joy to drive; whether you are crawling in traffic or blasting along the motorway, fun is guaranteed which is what you want from Christmas gift, right?
The gearshift is unbelievably good and there are so many fantastic upgrades when you opt for the Lusso Plus model; can you really pass up the opportunity to add not one, not two but nine speakers and a set of 17-inch alloys? Go on, it is Christmas after all….
